Williams Adams was incarcerated for seven years for the rape of a girl in Ireland before relocating to Merseyside in 2005, a few days following his release from prison without any police intervention.
Shortly after his arrival in Liverpool, he befriended his subsequent victim, showering her with presents and financing a three-week holiday to Blackpool for her family—paid for by his Catholic priest lover—during which he assaulted her nightly.
Williams Adams, from Meadow Hey, Bootle, confessed to five counts of rape in 2007 and received a life sentence with a minimum term of seven and a half years.
Last Monday, he received an additional three-year prison sentence for past sexual assault at a care facility in Northern Ireland during the 1980s.
