William Dixon Bootle paedophile
William Dixon Bootle paedophile

William Dixon, who sexually assaulted two young boys over 30 years ago, was informed that he may spend the remainder of his life in prison.

The 70-year-old paedophile, William Dixon, was sentenced to 21 years in prison after being convicted in a re-trial for serious sexual abuse of minors.

William Dixon, a former resident of Bootle, is awaiting surgery, and Recorder Ian Unsworth, QC, informed him that “it may mean you will never be released.”

The paedophile, who has completed a six-year prison sentence for the rape of another youngster, audaciously refuted all claims throughout a prior trial and subsequent re-trial.

Following his release from a prior rape term in 1997, William Dixon relocated and currently resides in Brock Gardens, Reading.

William Dixon was convicted of indecency with one youngster and indecent assault against him, as well as seven counts of indecent assault against another boy, including one incident currently classified as rape and two instances of attempted rape.

Merseyside Police stated that they lacked his mugshot since he participated in a voluntary interview. It seems odd that they don’t photograph when they charge like the rest of the country’s police.
