Tabarik Hussain, a paedophile who sexually attacked a kid and recorded himself raping a lady, has been sentenced to 18 years in prison.
Tabarik Hussain, 34, encountered the woman online in 2018, and they initiated communication prior to arranging an in-person meeting the subsequent year.
Over a six-month duration, Hussain clandestinely recorded them engaging in consensual sexual activity.
On two distinct instances, he recorded himself engaging in sexual intercourse with the woman while she was unconscious and incapable of providing consent.
All incidents occurred in the victim’s residence in Peterborough and were revealed only when Tabarik Hussain was apprehended for the sexual assault of a child in 2023.
Last year, Tabarik Hussain sent a text message to a girl greeting her on her twelfth birthday. Shortly after initiating the transmission of sexual messages, including photographs of his genitalia, he subsequently sexually assaulted her twice at her residence.
The girl informed an adult, resulting in the arrest of Tabarik Hussain.
Upon the seizure and analysis of his phone, officers uncovered films featuring the woman from 2019.
They managed to identify the woman, who confirmed she was unaware of any of the recordings.
They also found 18 indecent images and videos of children on the device and evidence he had been harassing another woman in 2022.
Tabarik Hussain, of Outfield, Bretton, Peterborough, admitted engaging in sexual communications with a child, but denied two counts of rape, three of voyeurism, two of assaulting a girl under 13 by touching, making indecent photographs of a child and harassment.
At two separate trials in April and November at Peterborough Crown Court he was found guilty on all counts.
He was jailed on Friday (6 December) at the same court.
DC Abbie Mcquaid said: “Several women and a young girl have faced the stress of giving evidence in court to ensure Hussain faced justice for a broad spectrum of sexual crimes.
“Both the child victim of sexual assault and the victim of rape showed extreme resilience and bravery during these two trials and in the long wait beforehand. By not flinching after Tabarik Hussain forced them to trial, despite the weight of evidence against him, they have ensured other women and girls will be kept safe from him for a long time.
“Bringing perpetrators of sexual offences to justice is one of our top priorities and I’d urge anyone who has been a victim to seek support.”
