A guy, Drew Harrison Denham Paedophile, who systematically targeted and groomed a girl for sexual exploitation over several months and engaged in prolonged illegal sexual conduct has been sentenced to imprisonment.
Drew Harrison, 41, of Oxford Road, Denham, admitted guilt to 11 charges of sexual contact with a minor and one charge of possessing extreme pornography at a hearing at Aylesbury Crown Court on 30 August 2024.
Upon returning to the same court on Friday (17/1), Harrison was sentenced to a total of nine years in prison and issued an indefinite restraining order.
Drew Harrison was additionally mandated to relinquish a gadget containing extreme pornography and to remit fines totalling £228.
From November 2022 to April 2023, Harison manipulated his victim at multiple locations around Durham, Buckinghamshire, and London.
He engaged in prolonged sexual acts with her, both penetrative and non-penetrative, exploiting her in a reprehensible manner.
The offences were reported to Thames Valley Police on 8 April 2023, and Drew Harrison was apprehended the subsequent day.
Subsequent to an inquiry, he was indicted on 12 June 2024, prior to entering a guilty plea in court.
Detective Constable Aimee Stein of the Child Abuse Investigation Unit at Aylesbury police station stated: “Drew Harrison exploited a vulnerable child victim over several months, and I am gratified that this sentence has been imposed, delivering justice to her and her family.”
“The coercion, abuse and manipulation by Drew Harrison has had, and will continue to have a significant impact in the victim’s life, as well as her family.
“I would like to pay tribute to the victim and witnesses, and praise them for the great courage they have shown which has allowed us to bring Harrison to justice.
“Without their evidence, we would not have had the strong case that we built, whereby Harrison had to admit what he had done.
“Thames Valley Police are committed to tackling all forms of violence against women and girls, and I hope that this sentence will allow the victim of this horrific case of abuse to move on with her life.”
