Gary Glyn Morris, residing on Central Avenue in Hereford, appeared at Worcester Crown Court in December for trial after contesting the charge.
Gary Glyn Morris, 33, was convicted at trial of causing grievous bodily harm from January 16, 2020, to January 19, 2020.
Nevertheless, Gary Glyn Morris was acquitted of an additional allegation of inflicting severe bodily harm with intent to cause such harm.
A judge imposed a sentence of two years and four months of incarceration. He is required to pay a £122 victim surcharge.
His punishment occurred more than two years after his initial court appearance at Hereford Magistrates’ Court, where magistrates referred him to the crown court.
