A Norwich Paedophile, Ashley Carter, with a nappy fetish has been incarcerated for a heinous sexual assault on a toddler.
Ashley Carter, who has a history of convictions linked to his sexual obsession with nappies, perpetrated the assault at a hotel in Norwich.
Norwich Crown Court was informed that the 35-year-old recorded the encounter in a lavatory at the Travelodge on Queen’s Road.
The video saw Ashley Carter, unclothed, forcing a filthy nappy on the infant’s face, causing the child to become distressed.
Peter Gair, for the prosecution, stated that the assault was classified as sexual due to Ashley Carter’s recognised sexual fixation pertaining to nappies.
Ashley Carter, who has no permanent residence, had seven convictions for ten prior offences, which include two counts of indecent exposure and two counts of outraging public decency, one of which involved him engaging in self-stimulation while in possession of a nappy.
During the assault in November 2023, the youngster was left in the hotel with Ashley Carter by the victim’s mother.
Following notification to the police, Ashley Carter was apprehended and discovered to possess 29 obscene photographs of minors on his phone, including category A, the most severe classification.
Ashley Carter was sentenced to 60 months in jail after pleading guilty to sexual assault of a child under 13 and related image charges during his court appearance earlier this month.
A statement from the victim’s mother conveyed her feelings of “numbness” in response to the incident [SHE VOLUNTARILY LEFT THE CHILD WITH HIM????].
Ashley Carter was subjected to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) for a duration of 15 years and was placed on the sex offenders’ register for the same period.
He was prohibited from contacting either the mother or the victim, directly or indirectly, for a duration of 10 years.
