A child molester, Aaron Paul Reece Whitwell, the Durham Paedophile, who violated his Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) and assaulted a teenage girl has been incarcerated again.
Aaron Paul Reece Whitwell, having previously been incarcerated for sexual assaults, perpetrated fresh crimes between November 2022 and January 2023.
The 28-year-old utilised social media, as a 17-year-old male, to engage with the victim prior to perpetrating the abuse.
He was apprehended and asserted that he was the target of a plot due to his recent release from incarceration.
However, the evidence indicated otherwise, resulting in his charges for eight sexual crimes.
Aaron Paul Reece Whitwell, of no fixed residence, appeared at Durham Crown Court today (March 6) and received a 12-year extended prison sentence.
Detective Constable James Horner, of South Durham CID, said: “Aaron Paul Reece Whitwell is a dangerous sexual predator who preyed upon a vulnerable young girl.
“I want to thank the victim and witnesses for coming forward and particularly the victim, for her bravery, strength and positivity throughout the case.”
