A Brechin sex offender, Aaron Ryan, bound by strict behavioural regulations, was discovered in possession of pornography on his phone after causing a disturbance due to intoxication at Tesco in Montrose.
Aaron Ryan is prohibited from possessing devices that can access the internet without authorisation, as stipulated by a seven-year Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) issued in 2021.
Nevertheless, he was taken into arrest after law enforcement was sent to address the situation at the shop in Montrose in March 2024.
Aaron Ryan was incarcerated for various charges last year, and three days post-release in February of this year, he was apprehended with an illicit phone.
Aaron Ryan will get his term and has been placed on the sex offenders register on a provisional basis.
