A paedophile child sex offender from Sittingbourne, Aaron Stevens, who repeatedly molested his young victim, has been sentenced to 13 years in prison.

Aaron Stevens, previously residing on Newbridge Avenue, was found guilty of 15 offences after a trial at Maidstone Crown Court.

Authorities were cognisant of Stevens’ offences in May 2018 following reports to law enforcement on his online admissions.

Aaron Stevens was apprehended at his residence on 27 May 2018 and subsequently charged after an intricate investigation by specialised detectives from Kent Police.

He refuted all allegations; but, after a unanimous jury verdict, he was convicted of sexual assault of a minor, inducing a minor to engage in sexual conduct, attempting to communicate sexually with a minor, possession and distribution of indecent photos of a minor, and indecent exposure.

Aaron Stevens, 27, was sentenced on Tuesday, July 8, 2025, and will serve an additional four years on license.

Aaron Stevens will be obligated to fulfil reporting obligations for the sex offender registry for life and was furthermore mandated to adhere to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
