Abdullahi Mohammed rapist sex offender Edgware

After a neighbour managed to photograph a “dangerous” sex offender, Abdullahi Mohammed the Edgware Rapist, grabbing a woman and threatening her with a knife in her own house, the rapist was apprehended.

After earlier pleading guilty to the horrific sex attack, Abdullahi Mohammed was imprisoned for ten years and two months at Harrow Crown Court on Monday, August 19, 2019.

The thirty-year-old called the victim out of the blue, asking whether he might visit; he was a hazy friend of her family.

Abdullahi Mohammed had not been in touch for some time, so the woman tried to talk him out of visiting by stating she had another visitor shortly arriving at her Hendon house, but Mohammed rocked up at her Hendon house nevertheless.

Once within, the woman volunteered to make Abdullahi Mohammed some tea. Abdullahi Mohammed snatched her from behind and brandished a knife, threatening her in the kitchen.

Then, before raping her on September 27, 2018, he pushed her into the lounge.

Abdullahi Mohammed flung the knife he had used in the attack out of a window into the communal area during the incident.

Abdullahi Mohammed exited the address following the attack to pick up the knife. The victim alerted a neighbour who had pictures of Abdullahi Mohammed picking his weapon.

Police were summoned, and later the same day, Abdullahi Mohammed, from Watling Avenue in Edgware, was taken into custody.
