Investigators examining the vanishing of fugitive Goring Paedophile sex offender Abm Uddin report no indications of his having escaped overseas.

A judge issued a warrant for the arrest of the 38-year-old, Abm Uddin, at the beginning of March due to his absence from the sentencing hearing at Oxford Crown Court.

Recorder Samantha Presland, who authorised the warrant, was informed that Abm Uddin was last observed by colleagues at the restaurant where he was employed in Goring on February 28. He entered a taxi, suggesting he was in route to the railway station, and has not been heard from since.

The judge expressed concern that he might be travelling abroad, despite family members asserting that he had not communicated with relatives in Bangladesh.

She informed the barristers: “Abm Uddin has undoubtedly fled and possesses a week’s advantage over everyone.”

This week, the police released Abm Uddin’s photograph together with a CCTV image of the fugitive convicted sex offender at Goring railway station on February 28.
