Adam Kirsopp, a Newark Paedophile who distributed indecent pictures and videos of children online has been arrested.
Detectives were informed in February 2023 that an indecent video had been uploaded using an internet account connected to Adam Kirsopp.
After police visited Adam Kirsopp’s house in Fernwood, Newark, they found his mobile phone and found the 27-year-old had been spreading several obscene photographs and films.
A few images were rated as category A, showing the most severe crimes against minors.
Adam Kirsopp also included social media talks where he and others role-played and dreamed about child sexual abuse.
Adam Kirsopp came before Nottingham Crown Court for sentence on Thursday, July 18, and was imprisoned for two years and two months.
Additionally, given a sexual harm prevention order for ten years, this will tightly limit his activity once released.
Adam Kirsopp entered a guilty plea to three counts of creating an indecent picture of a child, one count of distributing a lewd photo of a child and one count of possessing an extreme pornographic image.
Constable Detective: Of Nottinghamshire Police, Tom Nuttall said:
Adam Kirsopp denied having a sexual interest in minors throughout questioning, but we did not believe him. It makes me happy that the judge did not, either.
“Our research revealed he had spoken online about mistreating children and shared unpleasant and upsetting stuff.
“Behind every one of the horrific pictures and videos we came across on his phone are actual children who have to deal with the mental and physical marks of what has happened to them.
“Every time someone views or downloads this kind of content, they support this terrible and vicious assault.
“I hope this case warns others about the possible fallout from seeing this content.”
