Authorities have disseminated an image of a short black male they wish to interview following the sexual assault of a lady in a park in Middlesbrough.
Police were summoned to Albert Park, located off Park Road North, in the early hours of Wednesday (September 11) following a woman’s rape.
Authorities cordoned off the fountain at the park’s centre, with a crime scene investigation vehicle observed on a nearby road.
Cleveland Police launched an investigation, describing the suspect who made off from the scene as a black male, about 30 years old, of slim build, around 4fft 11ins to 5ft 2in.
He was wearing a long, black parka jacket which is described as “scruffy” and he had his hood up, and was riding a pedal bike.
The force has now released two images of a man they believe may be able to assist police with their enquiries into the incident.
Officers are releasing images of a man they want to speak with following a report of a rape in Albert Park, Middlesbrough.
Detective Chief Inspector Alan O’Donoghue from Middlesbrough CID said: “I would appeal to the man in these images to contact us as he could potentially assist with our ongoing enquiries.
“Anyone who may know his identity is also asked to contact police, by calling Cleveland Police on 101.
