A Northamptonshire police special constable paedophile, Alex John Foster, has been incarcerated for attempting to engage in sexual activity with a ’15-year-old girl’ at KFC.
Alex John Foster, 43, was apprehended by fellow officers in a KFC parking lot in Nottinghamshire, possessing condoms and lubricant after engaging in internet grooming of a juvenile girl.
While serving as a training officer with Northamptonshire Police, Alex John Foster enquired of the girl, who was an undercover officer, about her experiences ‘with males’ and expressed that he was ‘seeking someone for sexual relations.’
Recorder James House KC informed Alex John Foster that he occupied a position of trust and that his actions were likely to degrade the public’s opinion of police officers.
He stated, “You were fully aware that engaging in communication with a 15-year-old girl was both immoral and illegal.”
Alex John Foster, hailing from Northamptonshire, confessed to three offences of sexual communication with a minor, which include planning or facilitating such communication and wilfully encouraging or assisting it. He was incarcerated for two years.
Alex John Foster received a 10-year sexual harm prevention order and was registered on the Sex Offenders’ list.
Steve Noonan, the director of major investigations at the Independent Office for Police Conduct, stated: “Mr. Alex John Foster’s conduct was reprehensible in engaging in sexual communication online with someone he believed to be a child and subsequently arranging and travelling to meet them for sexual purposes.”
Alex John Foster has justly received a prison sentence for his reprehensible actions. We led the inquiry conducted by Northamptonshire Police’s counter-corruption branch, and I appreciate their officers’ professionalism in facilitating the apprehension of this offender.
