A “12-year-old-girl” was the recipient of a love poem written by the Blackburn paedophile, Ali Hassan, using “flowery language.”

The 31-year-old Ali Hassan was interacting with paedophiles when he believed he was communicating with four females, ages 12 to 14.

The prosecutor at Preston Crown Court, Lisa Worsley, stated that on November 7, 2021, Hassan was “caught” at the Blackburn train station with chocolate biscuits and candies intended for a “Stephanie Miller” decoy account.

Ali Hassan sent a “hi” message to the phoney account “Stephanie Miller” on October 6, a couple weeks prior.

Even though “Stephanie” admitted to being fourteen years old in her response to Ali Hassan, the topic of conversation soon became sexual, with Hassan sharing photos and videos of couples kissing.

“Would you like to kiss with me?” and “do you have a boyfriend?” were some of the queries Ali Hassan asked.

He enquired about her hometown and she mentioned Manchester. He then began to broach the subject of their meeting, implying that she visit Blackburn.

Ali Hassan informed the girl he enjoyed “boob sucking,” and plans were made to go kiss in KFC and Corporation Park.

The child abuse investigator met with police at Blackburn rail station on the scheduled meeting day, identified Ali Hassan, and relayed conversational details.

Following his arrest, authorities discovered proof of Ali Hassan’s sexual interactions with three other girls, all of whom were acting as decoys.

Ali Hassan never stopped telling the females that he was a Blackburn native and that he enjoyed kissing.

Ali Hassan allegedly sent a love poem to a girl he believed to be twelve years old, according to one version.

Can I express my affection for you today? This was the poem’s opening line. In any case, I will love you forever, so I will be asking if I might ask again tomorrow and the day after that.

Some of the girls also heard Ali Hassan confess his love to them.

Mitigating, Isobel Thomas said that Ali Hassan, of Whalley New Road, Blackburn, said that the offences took place some 18 months ago and that he has not been in trouble with the police since.

She also said that the defendant was 29 at the time, stating that it was not a ‘significant disparity in age’. [EDITOR’S NOTE – SO CHILD RAPE IS OK AS LONG AS YOU AREN’T OVER 30]

Recorder Andrew Nuttall dismissed that comment and said there most definitely was a significant disparity between 12 or 14 and 29.

Recorder Nuttall said: “The aim of the paedophile hunting team is to catch online predators and you were caught.

“You contacted with those decoys and I am satisfied it was grooming behaviour.

“You set out to flatter those young girls aged between 12 and 14.

“You sent numerous messages to meet these girls.

“You used flowery language seeking to flatter the girls, talking mostly about kissing and love.”

Recorder Nuttall jailed Ali Hassan, who pleaded guilty to one count of arranging and facilitating a child sex offence and four counts of attempting to engage in sexual communications with a child, for 22 months and two weeks.

He has also been made subject to a sexual harm prevention order for five years and will be subject to notification requirements for 10 years.
