The Hodge Hill Paedophile, Angela Davies, who became pregnant after having sexual intercourse with a 13-year-old boy wept and covered her face with her hands as she was sentenced to prison.
Angela Davies was in her early twenties when she coerced the boy into sexual intercourse; it took her almost two decades to acknowledge the reality.
She delivered the kid fathered by the boy but misrepresented the father’s age to social services when the child was placed in care.
Angela Davies, currently in her 40s and residing on Shopton Road, Hodge Hill, admitted to one count of indecent assault against a male individual.
On Thursday, June 12, she received a sentence of two and a half years at Birmingham Crown Court.
Judge Peter Carr was requested by Angela Davies’ attorney to contemplate the suspension of incarceration; however, he responded, “I regret to inform you that I cannot.”
Prosecutor Darron Whitehead stated that the offence resulted in the defendant’s pregnancy.
He informed the court that Angela Davies was a habitual consumer of alcohol and drugs at that time, noting that she was aware he was 13 years old.
She originally informed the boy that another individual was the child’s father before ultimately revealing the truth to him; nevertheless, she did not designate the victim as the father on the birth certificate.
The child entered care at the age of four and was eventually placed in permanent foster care.
Mr. Whitehead stated: “The defendant revealed to social services that the victim was the father, but she misrepresented his age.”
“She told social services he was much older. This in-turn meant social services were unable to locate him.”
The victim reported Angela Davies to the police in the early 2020s. Mr Whitehead said: “She admitted having sexual intercourse with (the victim) once when she was in her early 20s. She said he looked much older than 13.”
He added: “She asserted she didn’t believe she had taken advantage of him in any way and didn’t believe he felt so at the time.”
Mr Whitehead told the court that Angela Davies’ guilty plea at a hearing in April this year was ‘the first time she had acknowledged his true age and her knowledge of his true age’.
In a statement the victim said the attack had caused him ‘a lot of heartache and pain and suffering’.
Mr Whitehead said: “It is still weighing heavily on his mind on a daily basis that she caused him to become a father at a very young age when he describes he should have been enjoying childish pursuits.
“He expressed hatred towards the defendant, Angela Davies, and attributes his personal problems to the effect of this matter.”
