A Skegness Paedophile, Anthony Arr, working at a church performed sexual actions in front of a 13-year-old girl via webcam, after directing her to disrobe.
He subsequently asserted to the authorities that he and his victim had become “boyfriend and girlfriend” and had “intended to elope” upon her turning 16.
Anthony Arr, 61, initiated communication with a young adolescent over social media, sending her messages in which he complimented her beauty and commented on her attractiveness.
Prosecutor Bethan Evans stated that Anthony Arr would advise the victim to “disrobe” and directed her to engage in masturbation, claiming he would do the same.
He requested to view her breasts and for her to bend over. The victim subsequently informed the authorities that Anthony Arr would be unclothed during these discussions and would “dance around” before engaging in masturbation while observing her.
He assured the victim, “Do not be concerned; when we engage in sexual intercourse, you will not conceive, as I have undergone a vasectomy.”
Anthony Arr, of Laburnum Avenue, Skegness, Lincolnshire, subsequently admitted guilt to two charges of causing or persuading a minor to participate in sexual activity and two charges of engaging in sexual activity in the presence of a child.
Anthony Arr received a sentence of four years and four months in incarceration.
He was also subjected to sex offender notification obligations and a restraining order.
