Subsequent to a Thames Valley Police investigation, a Bradfield Southend Paedophile, Anthony Farr, has been incarcerated for child sexual offences in West Berkshire.

Anthony Farr, 59 years old, of Southend Road, Bradfield Southend, was sentenced to 12 years’ imprisonment at Reading Crown Court on Friday, June 27.

The judge imposed a 15-year sexual harm prevention order on Anthony Farr and mandated his lifetime registration on the sex offenders register.

A jury convicted Anthony Farr of one count of child assault involving penetration and one count of enticing a child under 13 to participate in sexual behaviour at the same court on 12 May of this year, after a 10-day trial.

The jury exonerated Anthony Farr of two charges of sexual assault against a child under 13 and one charge of child penetration assault under 13.

Anthony Farr perpetrated sexual abuse against a minor in West Berkshire.

Anthony Farr was indicted on 12 April of the previous year.

Investigating officer Detective Constable Adele Shaw said: “I would like to commend the victim in this case for her strength and bravery in reporting this despicable sexual abuse to police.

“This case shows that we will always seek to support child sexual offence victims and protect the public by bringing their abusers to justice.”
