Anthony Huggins paedophile rapist sex offender West Drayton

A West Drayton Paedophile Anthony Huggins who sexually assaulted and raped a small child between the ages of seven and eleven has been imprisoned.

From January 2009 to December 2013, Anthony Huggins, 34, of Bellclose Road, mistreated his victim in Shepherds Bush and Ealing.

Only on February 4, 2017, when his victim—a 17-year-old at the time—told nurses of the assault she had endured during a hospital visit, did his crimes become known.

The nurses reported straight to the police, who started an inquiry.

The court heard how the victim’s mother didn’t know Anthony Huggins was abusing her.

At the age of around 10, the victim told what he had done to her; the abuse stopped then, only to start a few months later.

Too afraid of Anthony Huggins’ violent attitude, the woman and her family refused to report him.

March 22, 2017, Anthony Huggins was arrested and charged.

On March 29, 2019, Anthony Huggins was sentenced to ten years in jail.

Although he entered a not guilty plea, Isleworth Crown Court’s two-week trial resulted in a guilty verdict for him on rape and sexual abuse of the young girl.
