A paedophile, Antony Downes, of Hawthorn Crescent, Bewdley, convicted of sexually assaulting a kid has been sentenced to 10 years in prison.
Sex offender Antony Downes, 65, appeared in the dock at Shrewsbury Crown Court this week as his victim courageously recounted the traumatic impact of his heinous acts.
The court was informed that Antony Downes fondled the girl’s buttocks and breasts, in addition to assaulting her genitalia.
While testifying, the victim stated: “It has impacted me mentally, physically, and emotionally.”
