An alleged Banbury sex offender, Barry England, is scheduled to appear in a magistrates’ court facing allegations of sexual assault.
Barry England, residing on Jersey Drive, Banbury, has been charged with a single count of sexual assault against a female.
On September 3, 2023, in Droitwich, Worcestershire, a 47-year-old allegedly engaged in non-consensual sexual touching of a woman.
The complainant in this instance cannot be identified for legal reasons.
Barry England is scheduled to appear at Worcestershire Magistrates’ Court on Tuesday, January 14. The matter is scheduled for an initial hearing at 2 PM.
The determination of whether Barry England will be required to enter a plea at the initial hearing or if the matter will be postponed remains uncertain.
The case may be escalated to a higher court for adjudication.
