Benjamin Magee Manchester Paedophile

Benjamin Magee, the Manchester Paedophile, born on July 27, 1992, residing on Shannon Road, Manchester, was sentenced to 18 years at Manchester Minshull Crown Court on Wednesday, May 7, 2025. Benjamin Magee was issued an indefinite sexual harm prevention order along with a restraining order.

In August 2023, the victim, accompanied by a friend, visited a Greater Manchester Police station to raise concerns regarding sexual abuse. Investigations revealed that Benjamin Magee had encountered her in August 2022 and thereafter, in the next months, purchased her gifts, accompanied her to roller skating, and solicited her assistance in walking his dog for remuneration. This encompassed a declaration of his intention to finance her future education.

In retaliation, he employed this to sexually assault her at multiple locations through coercion, with the victim, who was 15 at the time, reporting that it occurred on 40 to 50 instances, most recently in May 2023, during which she confronted him about the immorality of his actions and consistently withheld consent.

Following the denial of the offences during the interrogation, the subsequent arrest by detectives led to the affirmation of the charges.

Subsequent to a trial, Benjamin Magee was adjudicated guilty of three charges of non-penetrative sexual conduct with a girl aged 13-15, assaulting a female aged 13 and older through penetration with a body part, multiple charges of assaulting a female aged 13 or older through penetration with a body part, and two violations of a Sexual Harm Prevention Order while already registered.

Following a retrial, Benjamin Magee was again convicted of three charges of vaginal rape and two counts of oral rape.

Detective Constable Foy from our City of Manchester South district said; “Firstly, I would like to commend the bravery of the victim in this case in coming forward and disclosing to us what happened to her over a prolonged period of time.

“I’m glad as a team we’ve been able to put another predator behind bars who knew what he was doing was wrong on all levels but continued to act in an extremely selfish and disturbing way.

“Today’s result shows those who abuse the vulnerabilities of young people and their loved ones will always have to answer for their actions in the end.”
