Are you keeping an eye out for the Bexhill Paedophile, Bruce Child? He is in your community. Bruce Child admitted travelling to Leicester on November 20 last year to meet the girl after speaking to her online.
The then 63-year-old, Bruce Child, who works in Hastings but lives in Jameson Road, Bexhill, also pleaded guilty to making indecent images of children.
Bruce Child was sentenced at Hove Crown Court to three years in prison for grooming. He was also handed three and six-month concurrent sentences for the images.
Bruce Child will be a registered sex offender for life and was handed a sexual offence prevention order to restrict his access to children and computers.
The sentencing follows an investigation by the East Sussex Safeguarding Investigation Unit and the Sussex Police Complex Abuse Unit.
