Callum Monson, 28, the Paisley Rapist, was convicted of offences against six women from 2019 to 2023 at the High Court in Paisley on Friday, September 6, 2024.

On Wednesday, 9 October 2024, Callum Monson was convicted by the same court to seven years of imprisonment and three years of supervised release.

Detective Inspector Euan McMillan of the Public Protection Unit said:

“Callum Monson is a danger to women and he’s now facing the consequences of a campaign of violent and sexual attacks on six women.

“I commend the women involved for reporting Callum Monson’s offending and throughout the legal proceedings. I hope his conviction and sentencing will bring them justice.

“Police Scotland is committed to tackling all forms of violent and sexual crime and I’d urge anyone who has been a victim to come forward and report it, knowing you’ll be fully supported by our specially trained officers and partner agencies. There is no time bar to reporting, so regardless of when it happened, know you can report it and we will fully investigate.”
