The Hereford Paedophile, Carl Higgins, an individual has been convicted and given a prison term of nine and a half years for engaging in sexual offences involving minors.

Carl Higgins, a 30-year-old resident of Widemarsh Street in Hereford, was convicted of raping a child, committing three sexual assaults, and inducing a child to engage in sexual conduct. Carl Higgins was sentenced at Worcester Crown Court on Thursday, September 5th.

The crimes occurred from 2014 to 2017.

Aside from his prison term, Carl Higgins has also received an indefinite sexual harm prevention order and an indefinite restraining order.

Detective Constable Fiona Pearson emphasised that this sentence illustrates the commitment of the police and courts to eliminate dangerous predators from society and ensure that justice is served.

“Thanks to the victim’s bravery and courage, Carl Higgins will serve a lengthy sentence. We would always encourage anyone who has been a victim of sexual abuse, no matter how long ago, to come forward to speak with the police. We have specially trained officers who can support you throughout the process, and we work with several agencies who can also support you.”
