A Paisley and Edinburgh Rapist, Charles Morrison, has been sentenced to seven years in prison for violent and sexual assaults against two women.
On Wednesday, June 12, 2024, Charles Morrison, 27, was found guilty of four years’ worth of offences before the High Court in Paisley. He was sentenced to seven years in prison by the same court today, Thursday, July 11th.
He was also given a 15-year Non-Harassment Order for both victims and has been placed on the sex offenders register indefinitely.
Detective Inspector Cheryl Gebbie stated, “Morrison has been judged to be a danger to women and will now face the consequences of his actions.
“I hope his conviction and sentencing provide justice to the women involved, who have demonstrated tremendous courage in disclosing what occurred to them.
