Nottingham Paedophile couple Christopher Binch & Lindsay Mobey were imprisoned for raping, torturing and sexually assaulting a young child.
After it was discovered Christopher Binch, 36, had been talking about his sexual interest in children and uploading obscene content to an internet child abuse group, the National Crime Agency arrested him on March 12, 2022.
Christopher Binch sent a video and several pictures he had personally taken of a small child being sexually assaulted.
Officers grabbed Christopher Binch’s cell phone and some cocaine he verified was for personal use upon arresting him.
Utilising additional video analysis, NCA researchers found that although Christopher Binch was filming, it was a female with a visible tattoo engaged in the abuse.
The tattoo matched Lindsay Mobey, 34, Christopher Binch’s lover, and she was arrested three days later.
Examining Christopher Binch’s phone, police found many extreme and forbidden photographs as well as 347 indecent images of children (IIOC) in categories A-C. Three sexual abuse tapes that Christopher Binch had himself shot were part of the material.
Christopher Binch entered a guilty plea to 10 charges, including the sexual assault of a child under 13, the taking, making, possession and distribution of child abuse images and videos, possession of extreme pornography and one count of cocaine. He was remanded in custody in November last year.
Lyndsay Mobey admitted guilt in the same month about the sexual abuse of a minor under thirteen.
Christopher Binch was sentenced to eight years and one month today at Leicester Crown Court; he was placed on the sex offenders registry for life and given an indefinite sexual harm prevention order.
Lindsay Mobey will be on the sex offenders register for five years; she was imprisoned for two years and one month, even though she was filmed raping and sexually assaulting the young child. Women might not earn as much as men but for raping children they definitely always get the better deal.
