A Cumbria Paedophile, Christopher Hodgson, who disseminated films of himself molesting a youngster and was apprehended while anticipating a meeting with an individual he believed to be a 14-year-old lad for sexual purposes, has been incarcerated.
Christopher Hodgson, 46, was in fact meeting an undercover police officer when he scheduled the rendezvous at Newcastle Central Station on 22 January, as presented at the city’s crown court.
He possessed a collection of photos, including those of a four-month-old infant being abused, amassed several years prior in Cumbria, and transmitted recordings of his abuse of a teenager to other men.
Christopher Hodgson confessed to 14 charges, including the creation, possession, and distribution of obscene pictures of minors, as well as seeking to meet a kid after grooming. He was incarcerated for seven years.
The court was informed that messages discovered on Christopher Hodgson’s phone revealed he, residing in Cumbria at the time, had transmitted videos, including instances of him sexually assaulting a minor child, to a minimum of three other individuals.
Christopher Hodgson was not indicted until November 2024, when he confessed to offences involving indecent photographs at Carlisle Magistrates’ Court, as shown in court.
Consequently, he was on court bail when he began messaging someone he believed to be a 14-year-old boy on SnapChat in mid-December, Ms. Shan stated.
During the subsequent month, Christopher Hodgson, residing in Newcastle at that time, transmitted films of himself engaging in sexual acts and urged the youngster to see him, as presented in court.
Hodgson expressed his eagerness to convene, stating he was “open to any activity” and would ensure it was “enjoyable and alluring” for the 14-year-old.
