Christopher Norris, a paedophile from Swansea, has been sentenced to imprisonment after being convicted of many child sex offences.
Christopher Norris, a 44-year-old from Clydach, has been convicted of two charges of sexual assault, one count of forcing or persuading a child to engage in sexual conduct, and one crime of engaging in sexual communication with a child.
He has been condemned today to thirty months of incarceration and is now subject to an indefinite Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO). Christopher Norris is also under a restraining order against the victim for a duration of five years. He will be permanently included on the sexual offenders register.
Detective Constable Joanne Williams stated:
“Christopher Norris is a highly dangerous individual who preyed upon his child victim with absolutely no regard for their wellbeing.
“I commend the bravery of the victim in reporting Christopher Norris’s actions, which was instrumental in helping bring him to justice.
“I hope this sentence brings some comfort to the victim and their family, all of whom have been through a harrowing ordeal.”
