A Southend Paedophile, Christopher Stuckey, has received a seven-year prison sentence after being apprehended in a police sting while attempting to arrange a sexual contact with an individual he believed to be an eight-year-old girl.

Christopher Stuckey was sentenced at Basildon Crown Court today after confessing to many sexual offences.

The 59-year-old resident of Prospect Close, Southend, received a further five years of supervision and was mandated to remain on the sex offenders registry for life.

Christopher Stuckey was apprehended by an undercover police officer after he transmitted a sequence of sexual messages on Snapchat to a decoy impersonating a someone with access to an eight-year-old girl and the ability to facilitate a meeting.

The court was informed that he transmitted sexually explicit texts to the officer, who was impersonating the child’s aunt, outlining his intentions towards the eight-year-old.

Christopher Stuckey had scheduled a meeting with the “aunt” in Gravesend, intending to engage in sexual activity with her niece, but he aborted the trip upon seeing a possible ambush.

During a prior hearing, Christopher Stuckey acknowledged intending to orchestrate or enable the perpetration of a child sexual crime between April and June 2024, namely the sexual assault of a child under the age of 13.

He also admitted to possessing 17 indecent images of children, seven of which were category A depicting penetrative or sexual abuse, as well as distributing two indecent images of children.

Judge Richard Conley, presiding over the trial said: “You are in a black hole of total denial in terms of your obvious desire and sexual attraction for young female children and that provides me with an anxiety about the level of risk you represent“

Christopher Stuckey, dressed in a green shell suit with grey hair and a grey beard, had to be ordered to stand and look at the judge as he handed down the sentence. [YEAH THAT TAUGHT HIM]
