A registered Alcester Paedophile Christopher Wood has been imprisoned after pleading guilty to two counts of possessing obscene photographs of children and one count of breaking a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO).
Warwick Crown Court imprisoned Christopher Wood, 23, of Kingfisher Way, for sixteen months.
Following his conviction in April 2021 for downloading offensive photos of children, Christopher Wood received a five-year SHPO. This SHPO asked him to create electronic tools that would let a police officer, upon demand, have internet access.
Unannounced visits to Christopher Wood’s house in November last year by Warwickshire Police Sex Offender Management Unit (SOMU) officers revealed what they thought to be obscene photos of youngsters.
They also discovered proof that Christopher Wood had erased items from his phone against SHPO policy.
Christopher Wood was detained, and his phone was handed off for more investigation. Twenty indecent pictures of minors were found in this study; eleven of them fit category A, the most severe type.
