Claudiu Rizea rapist sex offender Harrow

After routinely sexually attacking a lady as she was trying to make her way home, a 39-year-old man, Claudiu Rizea Harrow Rapist, has been imprisoned for over eight years.

After an inquiry by the British Transport Police, Stanley Road, Harrow’s Claudiu Rizea admitted guilt to exposure and sexual assault.

Friday, 28 June, saw him imprisoned at Kingston Crown Court for eight years and three months.

Claudiu Rizea was also forced to pay a victim fee of £228 and registered as a lifetime Sex Offender.

The court listened to how Claudiu Rizea first offered an 18-year-old lady outside Euston station a cigarette in the early hours of Friday, 8 September last year. He then trailed the lady to Westminster and went back to hug and kiss her before exposing himself to her at Baker Street Underground station.

She went away only for Claudiu Rizea to then drag her out of the station and sexually attack her.

She managed to flee and return to the station only to be constantly pursued by Claudiu Rizea, who grabbed her arms and hair and once more sought to take her away.

Locking herself in a cubicle at the station bathrooms, she arrived at safety. Claudiu Rizea tried to enter, but a train staff member stopped him.

She returned to the platform and noticed Claudiu Rizea going towards her. She notified the station officials, who summoned police and detained Claudiu Rizea.

Investigating officer DC Gemma Lee said: “This was a terrible and protracted attack on a young woman who has been left profoundly traumatised by the incident.

Claudiu Rizea persisted in her attempts to run, undeterred and resolved to execute his horrible and protracted sexual attack and subject her to more suffering by tracking her around the city.

“Claudiu Rizea is a dangerous sexual predator who is now behind bars where he fits thanks to the bravery of this young woman.”
