Paedophile Connor Cashmore, 28, of Bell Lane in Broadheath, was sentenced at Worcester Crown Court yesterday, Tuesday, April 29.

Authorities became aware of Connor Cashmore in September 2024 following intelligence linking him to a broader paedophile network. A subsequent investigation was initiated.

Connor Cashmore was apprehended on 9 September for the sexual assault of a child under 13, engaging and enticing a kid into sexual conduct, and the creation and distribution of obscene photos of minors.

Authorities confiscated multiple gadgets belonging to Connor Cashmore, revealing proof of the sexual abuse he perpetrated, which he recorded and disseminated throughout a paedophile network.

Connor Cashmore was then arrested on 26 September for the rape of a child under 13, sexual assault of a child under 13, and the creation and distribution of obscene pictures of children. He was placed in detention.

On 28 October, Connor Cashmore appeared at Worcester Crown Court and pleaded guilty to all 16 allegations in the indictment.

Yesterday, Connor Cashmore was sentenced to 20 years in prison, handed a Sexual Harm Prevention Order (SHPO) and put on the sex offenders register for life.

Detective Sergeant Thomas Birchley said: “This was one of the worst cases of sexual abuse many of us have ever been involved in. Connor Cashmore is a highly dangerous and predatory individual who has caused unimaginable suffering.

“Today’s sentence is a welcomed justice for Connor Cashmore’s unforgivable crimes, and for our investigative team who worked relentlessly to put him before a judge.”
