A ‘dangerous and predatory sex offender’, the Birmingham Paedophile, Damien Gloster, has been sentenced to ten years in prison for sexually assaulting two young adolescent males, subsequent to an inquiry by the British Transport Police (BTP).

Damien Gloster, 40, currently homeless, was sentenced to seven years in jail, with a further three-year extension, at Birmingham Crown Court on May 7. On Wednesday, February 19, 2025, a jury at Birmingham Crown Court convicted Damien Gloster of two charges of sexual assault against a male.

Furthermore, Damien Gloster will be permanently registered on the Sex Offenders Register.

The court was informed that Damien Gloster sexually abused two adolescent males on two distinct occasions last year.

On the evening of Saturday, May 11, a 15-year-old kid was sexually abused by Damien Gloster aboard a train travelling between Barnt Green and Selly Oak.

The second instance concerned a 16-year-old male who was approached by Damien Gloster while observing trains at Northfield station on the evening of Tuesday, July 16. Damien Gloster lured him into a forested region where he perpetrated sexual assault.

In court the Judge described Damien Gloster as a dangerous and predatory sex offender.

BTP Detective Constable Karl Byrne said: “Damien Gloster is a callous predator who deliberately targeted and exploited young boys for his own sexual gratification.

“The two boys were so brave with their support to the investigation and I really hope that they, and their families, can take some reassurance knowing he’ll be locked up for the foreseeable future.

“There is zero-tolerance for sexual offences on the rail network and we will do everything in our power to bring offenders like Damien Gloster to justice.

“I’d encourage everyone to save 61016 in their phones and let us know if you ever witness or experience sexual offending. We will always act and we will always take you seriously.”
