The police have lost another convicted sex offender, Daniel Barnett from Leigh Park, and have issued a request for assistance in locating a wanted individual from Portsmouth.

Daniel Barnett, 33, a serial stalker, did not attend court, prompting police to issue a public plea to ascertain his location.

An image and description of Barnett from Leigh Park have been disseminated, with police cautioning that anyone concealing him may face arrest.

Daniel Barnett was formerly apprehended and then indicted on two counts of indecent exposure, stalking, and transmitting hostile communications.

A spokeswoman for Hampshire Police stated: “Can you assist us in locating Daniel Barnett from Portsmouth?”

The 33-year-old is sought for non-appearance in court. Daniel Barnett is characterised as standing 6 feet tall, adorned with a dinosaur tattoo on his left arm and a tattoo of a knife intertwined with roses and a skull on his right leg.

We wish to caution individuals that anyone discovered concealing Daniel Barnett to intentionally hinder our efforts to locate him may be committing an offence and could face arrest themselves.

Last year, he avoided incarceration at Portsmouth Crown Court but received an 18-month community order and was placed on the sex offenders registry for five years after exposing his genitals to one female and stalking another.
