Daniel Gibbs Stowmarket Paedophile

A convicted Stowmarket Paedophile sex offender, Daniel Gibbs, who engaged in online sexual conversations with volunteers from four paedophile hunter groups impersonating schoolgirls has been sentenced to three years in prison.

In sentencing Daniel Gibbs, Recorder Emma Nash characterised him as a threat to children, adding that if the decoy children had been genuine, they would have suffered considerable trauma.

Daniel Gibbs, 33, of Crown Street, Stowmarket, confessed to three charges: attempted sexual communication with a minor, attempting to entice a minor to participate in sexual activity, and transmitting nude images of himself.

Besides incarcerating Daniel Gibbs, Recorder Nash imposed a 20-year sexual harm prevention order and mandated his lifetime registration on the sex offenders’ registry.
