A Milton Regis Rapist sexual predator, Daniel Holdaway from Sittingbourne, has been imprisoned for raping his victim in a hotel room during a night out.
Daniel Holdaway was convicted after a trial at Maidstone Crown Court.
Kent Police initiated an inquiry following the attack of a woman in the Gravesend region on 29 August 2021.
Daniel Holdaway, 24, engaged with his victim during the evening prior to escorting her to pre-arranged lodging.
The two individuals entered a motel room together. Despite the woman’s repeated expressions of her desires to Daniel Holdaway, he disregarded them and assaulted her sexually.
While Daniel Holdaway slumbered, the victim managed to exit the premises and promptly reported the incident.
Officers responded and conducted preliminary investigations. Daniel Holdaway was apprehended on 31 August 2021 and subsequently charged with rape.
Daniel Holdaway, residing on Burnham Close in Milton Regis, entered a plea of not guilty. On Friday, May 30, 2025, following a jury conviction, Daniel Holdaway was sentenced to five years of imprisonment. He will be obligated to adhere to stringent sex offender notification mandates indefinitely.
