An individual, Daniel Richardson Lofthouse Paedophile, has been given a legal punishment following their conviction for engaging in sexual misconduct with a young female child in Leeds over two decades ago.
Daniel Richardson, formerly known as Bedford, aged 38, residing at Leeds Road, Lofthouse, was convicted in a trial at Leeds Crown Court on two counts of indecent assault.
Thursday, 10 August, 2023, he received a six-year sentence.
The crimes were perpetrated against a single victim over several years, starting in 2003.
Detective Sergeant Emma Maltas, from the Leeds District Safeguarding Team, commended the victim for her remarkable courage in coming forward as an adult to report the horrendous crimes inflicted upon her during her childhood. Daniel Richardson’s actions have exerted a substantial influence on her childhood and continue to do so presently. I trust that his conviction will assist her in her ongoing efforts to comprehend and cope with this traumatic experience.
Daniel Richardson has inflicted years of sexual abuse upon the victim. He is currently incarcerated and will be subject to specific terms upon release.
