Following a typical BS IOPC inquiry, a Gloucestershire Paedophile Constabulary officer, Darcy Woods-Broady, has pleaded guilty to EIGHT child sex offences and has been gifted a suspended prison term.
Policewoman Darcy Woods-Broady, 21, entered a guilty plea at Worcester Crown Court today ( Wednesday) to a total of seven counts of sexual conduct with a child aged under sixteen and inciting a girl aged under sixteen to engage in sexual activity on dates between October 2022 and March 2023. She was ONLY put on the sex offenders register for ten years, sentenced to two years’ jail SUSPENDED, and subject to ONLY a five-year sexual harm prevention order.

In March 2023, Gloucestershire Constabulary arrested PC Woods-Broady and suspended the officer just six months after she had joined the Constabulary. Along with photographs and videos, the police officer’s digital equipment was seized displaying a notable volume of messages between Darcy Woods-Broady and an underage young girl. Darcy Woods-Broady told investigators that she had been in a sexual relationship with the victim and that she knew the girl to be 15 years old at the time of the acts. The rape and sexual assaults happened in PC Darcy Woods-Broady’s house and her car among other places.
Following IOPC direction, Gloucestershire Constabulary’s Professional Standards Department concluded the inquiry and sent a file of evidence to the Crown Prosecution Service in November last year. It took months, under the Sexual Offences Act 2003, for the CPS to approve the child rape and sexual assault charges against PC Woods-Broady.

Gloucestershire Constabulary waited until Darcy Woods-Broady was found guilty of child sex offences before they even considered moving forward to fire her for gross misconduct.
