David Brown Brownhills Birmingham paedophile rapist sex offender

Paedophile David Brown of Narrow Lane, Brownhills, was jailed for disseminating nasty and filthy indecent photos of youngsters and for encouraging boys on the internet to engage in sexual activities.

David Brown had already admitted guilt to one charge of disseminating an obscene image of a kid and three charges of creating indecent images of children.

David Brown had also entered not guilty pleas to two charges of planning or encouraging the commission of a child sex offence and four allegations of attempting to induce or inspire a 13 to 15-year-old lad to engage in sexual activity.

But after a March trial at Wolverhampton Crown Court, he was judged guilty of those offences.

Monday, July 15, at Birmingham Crown Court, David Brown was sentenced.

Brown not only received a 15-year prison term but also will be subject to a Sexual Harm Prevention Order for life and was put on the sex offender register for life.

Intelligence sent to West Midlands Police indicated David Brown was sharing obscene photographs of youngsters on the internet from home.

Officers from the Online Child Sexual Exploitation Team visited David Brown’s house on October 17, 2018, and took his electronic equipment.

Forensically investigated, the laptops revealed evidence of internet search phrases linked to child abuse as well as 175 obscene photographs of children.

Online messages were also obtained, mainly with an eye towards the systematic sexual abuse of minors worldwide as well as in the UK. One horrific event saw David Brown order a man in Africa to perform violence in return for money.

DC stands for Elaine Reading of the West Midlands Police Online Child Sexual Exploitation Team said: “David Brown poses a significant threat to children, and some of the abuse he urged others to perpetrate on young children was of the most nasty and wicked.

“Our police put great effort into the investigation to hold David Brown responsible for his deeds. We are happy he has been sentenced for a long period since it makes it abundantly evident that those who conduct these kinds of crimes would be discovered and would spend many years behind bars.”
