A Paedophile from Paisley, David Cardona, convicted of child sexual assault over a period exceeding two decades, has been incarcerated.
He was convicted by a jury after a trial at Paisley Sheriff Court for the abuse of three minors.
During the presentation of testimony, jurors were observed weeping as courageous victims and their relatives recounted the abuses perpetrated by David Cardona.
Sheriff Gillian Craig annulled David Cardona’s bail and detained him in jail. The sentence was postponed for the compilation of background reports.
David Cardona is scheduled to return to court for punishment next month and has been registered as a sex offender in the interim.
