Two Zoocore sex offenders, David Pringle and Lennon Gibbinson, smiled and celebrated while they trapped a deer and filmed as it was ripped apart by dogs and died slowly in “appalling” acts of cruelty.
“They are distressing videos. The dogs are shown mauling deer that can then be seen crying out in distress.
“One of the people stood on the neck of a deer before a dog lead was put around its neck. A child was made to kick the deer in the neck before the boy is seen to drag the deer across the floor.
“In the second video, the deer was held by a man and then the dogs attack that deer.”
David Pringle and Lennon Gibbinson received suspended prison sentences following a court’s examination of their egregious treatment of the restrained animal.
Lennon Gibbinson, 22, of Fifth Avenue, Stobhill Gate, Morpeth, admitted to two charges of inflicting unnecessary suffering on a protected species, specifically a roe deer, on December 14 and 21, 2023.
David Pringle, aged 22 and residing at Towers Close in Bedlington, acknowledged the identical allegations and crimes of unlawfully capturing and murdering a deer.
Recorder Ian Mallarkey sentenced Lennon Gibbinson to 18 months’ imprisonment, suspended for 18 months, and David Pringle to 19 months’ imprisonment, both suspended for 18 months.
It is strongly recommended that David Pringle and Lennon Gibbinson are not left alone with animals or children.
