A 25-year-old registered Northampton Paedophile sex offender, Davood Alekozai, has received a 64-week prison sentence for violating the conditions of the Sex Offenders’ Register.
In December 2023, Davood Alekozai was registered on the Sex Offenders’ Register (SOR) for five years following his conviction for a sexual assault that occurred in 2022.
In accordance with his SOR obligations, Davood Alekozai was required to fulfil an annual notification mandate and notify law enforcement of any online aliases utilised.
Subsequent to the examination of Davood Alekozai’s devices during a regular inspection, it was discovered that he was utilising online aliases that he had not disclosed to law enforcement. He also neglected to fulfil his annual notification obligation.
Davood Alekozai, formerly of Northampton, was apprehended and subsequently indicted on two charges of noncompliance with SOR regulations.
Davood Alekozai was sentenced to 64 weeks in prison after pleading guilty to the offences at Northampton Crown Court.
