A Musselburgh Sex Offender, Dino Husic, operated a vehicle while exceeding the legal alcohol limit by more than two-and-a-half times and thereafter issued threats of sexual assault towards a police officer and his family.
Dino Husic was discovered operating a vehicle with a breath alcohol concentration of 58mg per 100ml on Market Street, Haddington, on February 9; the legal limit is 22mg.
Dino Husic was subsequently apprehended by law enforcement and, en route to St Leonard’s Police Station in Edinburgh, he exhibited hostile behaviour.
Edinburgh Sheriff Court was told that the 33-year-old, Dino Husic, made repeated threats of violence and sexual violence towards PC Stuart Foster and his family.
The court also heard that Dino Husic made derogatory and offensive remarks, and repeatedly spat within the police vehicle during the journey to the Capital.
He appeared at Edinburgh Sheriff Court on Friday, pleading guilty to both offences.
Sheriff Iain Nicol issued Dino Husic, of Ravensheugh Road, Musselburgh, with an interim driving ban and deferred full sentence to next month.
