The images of two males have been released following a serious assault in Edinburgh.
A serious assault took place on Edinburgh’s Princes Street at around 8.30pm on Saturday, December 7, 2024. Police Scotland have now released images of two males who they think may have information which could assist them in their investigation into the incident.
The first man, aged approximately 18 years old, is described as being of slim build, with short light brown hair. At the time of the assault, he was wearing a grey coloured Nike hooded jumper, a dark coloured cross body bag and dark coloured trousers.
The second male, who is approximately 20 years old, has been described as white, of medium build, with short dark hair and dark stubble. At the time of the incident, he was wearing a black Canada Goose gilet top with a dark top underneath and dark trousers.
Anyone who has any information about the incident or who recognises the males pictured is asked to contact Police Scotland via 101, quoting incident number 3251 of 07 December 2024.

“One of the males is described as white, aged approximately 18 years old, slim build, short light, brown hair. He was wearing a grey coloured Nike hooded jumper, a dark coloured cross body bag and dark coloured trousers.
“The other male is described as white, aged approximately 20 years old, medium build, short dark hair and dark stubble. He was wearing a black Canada Goose gilet top with a dark top underneath and dark trousers.
