The Brynmill sexually-motivated burglar who from Swansea, Evan Powell, has been incarcerated after unlawfully entering multiple residences with the purpose to perpetrate a sexual crime.
We have no idea of what Evan Powell intended to do in the residences of the stranger’s he broke into and what would have been the act that had sexually motivated him to break in because the idiot South Wales police won’t let the public know.
Evan Powell, a 20-year-old from Brynmill, was discovered by retroactive face recognition software after reports indicated that addresses in the Brynmill region were targeted on October 31, 2024.
Evan Powell was apprehended later that day.
On May 1, he was convicted of four counts of trespassing with the intent to commit a sexual offence and has today received an extended sentence of nine years, consisting of five years in custody and four years on license.
Detective Inspector Stuart Prendiville said:
“Evan Powell’s actions on October 31 last year left multiple people in the Brynmill area feeling unsafe inside their own homes.
“That he entered their homes with the intention of committing a sexual offence is a significant aggravating factor.
“There is no justifiable explanation for Evan Powell’s actions, and he is now rightly embarking on a term in prison.”
