The London rapist, Florin Buti journeyed from London to Cambridge, where he sexually assaulted a woman before utilising her bank card. A 19-year-old and three other males journeyed to the city in 2022.
The perpetrators observed the victim traversing Sidney Street in Cambridge, after that compelled her into a vehicle, and proceeded to a remote site beyond the city limits. Florin Buti and two accomplices sexually assaulted the woman and after that transported her back to the city centre, where she reported the incident to the police.
Florin Buti later used the victim’s bank card at a service station in the London area. He was arrested following an investigation.
Florin Buti, of Ridgwell Road, London, denied rape and fraud by false representation, but he was found guilty following a trial at Peterborough Crown Court. On April 11, he was jailed eight years and four months at the same court
In November 2022, Florin Sardaru, 27, and Carlos Sali, 19, from London, were jailed for 12 years and four months and seven years and 11 months, respectively, after admitting the rape on the first day of their trial.
