Sex offender Gareth Edwards, Netherton Paedophile, was incarcerated but did not enter a cell before a court granted him bail.
He received a 16-week prison sentence for accompanying a woman he was dating and her three children to Centre Parcs.
The 30-year-old, Gareth Edwards, had also spent weekends at her residence, failing to disclose his status as a convicted sex offender.
Gareth Edwards, residing on St Monica’s Drive in Netherton, was previously jailed in 2016 for inciting a female under the age of 16 to participate in sexual activity.
He received a 16-week jail sentence, suspended for two years, and was mandated to register on the Sex Offenders Register for seven years.
Gareth Edwards acknowledged two violations of his notice obligations after meeting the woman online and infiltrating her family’s residence in 2019, without disclosing his troubling history.
A district judge incarcerated him at Liverpool Magistrates’ Court but promptly granted bail with a residential restriction, pending an appeal against the conviction.
Nevertheless, a week later Gareth Edwards withdrew his appeal and was incarcerated.
