To groom young teenage girls nationwide, a dishonest Enfield Paedophile Gemma Watts passed for a young boy online.
After pleading guilty at Winchester Crown Court on November 28, 2019, to a variety of charges involving young victims, Gemma Watts, 21, from Pembroke Avenue, was sentenced there on Friday, January 10, to eight years’ imprisonment.
Her offences comprise three counts of sexual assault, three counts of meeting a juvenile following sexual grooming, and assault by penetration.
Gemma Watts was put on the Sex Offenders Register for life and subject to a lifetime Sexual Harm Prevention Order.
After a combined operation between the Met and Hampshire Constabulary, it was discovered that Watts had created a strange and complex web of lies by assuming a false name, “Jake Watton.” She sexually assaulted underage girls she met via social networking platforms after using this profile to groom them.

Under the alias 16-year-old Jake Waton or Jake Watton, Gemma Watts messaged her victims via Facebook, Snapchat, Yubo and Instagram.
Following reports from a medical practitioner that a 14-year-old girl (victim 1) had reported being sexually assaulted by her boyfriend “Jake Waton,” Hampshire Police contacted officers from the Met’s Central Specialist Crime unit, alerting them of an investigation underway.
Gemma Watts was arrested for several severe sexual crimes after officers carried out a search warrant at her house address in July 2018. She partially accepted a number of the assaults and acknowledged grooming the victims under the guise of “Jake Waton” throughout the interrogation.
Gemma Watts continued to groom while on bail and was re-arrested.
