A Forest Hill Paedophile teacher and children’s charity worker, Geoffrey Dolamore, who sexually assaulted two young boys may face a life sentence in prison.

Mathematics instructor Geoffrey Dolamore exploited and consistently sexually assaulted a student at Forest Hill School throughout the 1970s.

The abuse went unreported, and Geoffrey Dolamore persisted in teaching until his retirement, after which he assumed the position of director at a children’s charity in Greenwich and Lewisham.

Geoffrey Dolamore, initially perceived as a “pillar of society,” was ultimately exposed as a paedophile in 2020 when it was disclosed that he had lately assaulted another young child starting at the age of nine.

The survivor of the 1970s assault reported it to the police in 2022, and Geoffrey Dolamore admitted guilt to 13 offences pertaining to the sexual abuse he perpetrated against the two boys.

Geoffrey Dolamore, 87, of Perry Rise in Forest Hill, now confronts the likelihood of dying in incarceration following his sentencing to 12 years in prison on Friday, July 11.

In the 1970s, Geoffrey Dolamore commenced grooming the Forest Hill School student during a tumultuous phase of his life at the age of 13, stated prosecutor Katrina Charles.

Exploiting this shortcoming, Geoffrey Dolamore portrayed himself as a compassionate individual.

However, he quickly commenced inflicting egregious sexual abuse onto the youngster.

The victim said: “At that time I had no idea what was happening to me. It remained a secret as it felt shameful to discuss it with anybody.”

He described how the abuse had impacted his entire life since, causing mental health and substance abuse issues.

He described Geoffrey Dolamore as a paedophile and expressed his hope that the judge would impose a lengthy sentence.

The more recent abuse began when the second victim was just nine-years-old and continued for a number of years.

Upon his arrest in August 2020, Geoffrey Dolamore informed the police that he had been anticipating their arrival.

During the interview, he acknowledged had a sexual interest in males aged 15 to 17.

Geoffrey Dolamore’s case reached the crown court in March of this year, where he confessed to 13 crimes concerning the sexual assault of two youngsters.

Geoffrey Dolamore additionally admitted guilt to the sexual assault of another male and the possession of multiple photographs depicting the rape of minors as young as eight.

His defence said that: “Geoffrey Dolamore is now estranged from most of his friends and family – “he’s brought great shame on himself”

Judge Christopher Grout sentenced Geoffrey Dolamore to 12 years in prison.
